Get a truly unique look by employing our landscaping engineers. We use mixing techniques that enhance the colours and textures of the decorative aggregate. Our experts also use contrasting aggregates, or combine areas of smooth and exposed-aggregate to make a more personalised finish.
Aggregate Construction Process
To begin, we seed the concrete in a shade that sets off or complements the aggregate colour. We then place exposed aggregate in strips or slabs separated by joints or slabs of contrasting decorative finishes. This is followed by using chemical stains to highlight elements in a pattern or fields of exposed aggregate.
Our talented experts are able to vary the degree of aggregate exposure, from light to heavy for different effects. For example, slabs that are side by side or in a pattern can be sandblasted to different exposure levels for a unique effect. We use high concentrations of aggregate at the surface to create an exposed-aggregate walkway that looks like a gravel pathway to give you the perfect result.
